Eric L. Hunn, Chief Operating Officer Back to About Us
Eric Hunn joined BPR as its Chief Operating Officer in 2008. A 20-year veteran of the collections industry, Mr. Hunn is responsible for all aspects of the company’s operations including sales, marketing, and collection strategy. He handles the identification, due diligence, integration, and management of collection agency partners in the BPR National Agency Recovery Network. Mr. Hunn also works directly with clients and investors in the distressed receivables market to develop and deliver tailored recovery solutions that maximize returns. In addition, he oversees the analysis of client portfolios, including liquidation curve modeling, recovery forecasting, and the segmentation and allocation of accounts among multiple collection agencies within BPR’s network.
For three years prior to joining BPR, Mr. Hunn served as Chief Operating Officer for MRS Associates, Inc., an accounts receivable management and BPO firm. At MRS, Mr. Hunn managed more than 700 staff in four locations in the United States and a fifth in Mumbai, India. During his tenure, MRS served 50 national financial, commercial, investor, and government collection clients and generated more than $180 million in annual gross revenues on their behalf.
From 1990 to 2005, Mr. Hunn was Vice President of Operations for the Government Solutions Division of Affiliated Computer Services, a $6 billion Fortune 500 company. He ran a business unit that provided BPO/IT integration and debt collection services, with responsibility for operational oversight and marketing. During his tenure, annual sales grew from $95 million to $150 million over a three-year period, yielding more than $700 million in annual delinquent revenue collection for the company’s government clients.
Mr. Hunn graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and earned an MBA in operations management from Drexel University in 1999. An active participant the credit and collections industry, he has been a speaker at the Collection Technology Conference, Fair Isaac’s InterACT, the Distressed Debt Investors Forum, and the Student Loan Finance Council. His is a member of the Experian Collections Executive Council and the American Honda Finance Collection Agency Council, and has also appeared on CNBC’s “The Big Idea With Donny Deutsch”.
